The University of Houston’s student section of ASME intends to provide adequate resources while maintaining a studious atmosphere conducive to collaborative learning. The lounge is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for use; there are lockers available for rental, whiteboards, computers, and there are food and drinks for sale at all times. ASME also has access to private study rooms in the upstairs hallway of the Y-building. The chapter participates in competitions, conferences, social events, leisure activities, and fundraisers. If you're looking to join head on down to the Y-building, the "rustic barn" next to the engineering buildings. We're located in Rm. 129; feel free to come by and pick up an application. Dues are $40 for a year, which includes local and national dues. Well worth the price. |
