Assistantships

           RESEARCH  ASSISTANTSHIPS

Applicants who have submitted a critical review or a research proposal as part of their graduate application are automatically considered for research assistantships in their area of interest. The quality of the review or proposal and the applicant's past academic performance are the main criteria used to award any such assistantships. Applicants who fail to provide a critical review or a research proposal will not be considered for research assistantships. Research Assistants are required to maintain satisfactory academic progress in order to receive any subsequent financial support.

TEACHING  ASSISTANTSHIPS

The quality of the review or proposal and the applicant's past academic performance are the main criteria used to award such assistantships. Applicants who fail to provide a critical review or a research proposal will not be considered for teaching assistantships. In addition to maintaining satisfactory academic performance, Teaching Assistants are required to work on their departmental assignments for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
