I am a varsity letterman on the University of Houston's Women's Swim Team. I am also a member of the University's Club Water Polo team. I enjoy being involved in many of the organizations on campus, including the American Institute of Chemical Engineering, Society for Women Engineers, Houston's "H" Association, and the Student Alumni Organization, which I am the Vice President-Special Events. I am a volunteer at all of UH's home football games. I have made the Dean's List in both of my semesters here at UH. I met my boyfriend, Josh, in our Calculus class at Clear Brook High School and we have been dating ever since.
My family consists of 6 members: my parents, 2 brothers, sister, and myself. My father, Robbie, is a chemical engineer at Bayer Corp. in Baytown, TX. My mother, Novela, is a stay at home mom, who volunteers frequently at Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, TX. She has a BS and Masters in Chemical Engineering. My older brother, Richard, 22, is a recent graduate from Georgia Tech and currently works for BP in Amarillo, TX. My older sister, Jennifer, 21, is an engineering senior at Texas A&M University in College Station. My younger brother, Geoffrey, 16, is currently a junior at Clear Brook High School.
