About IE Departmet's Web-basd Student
Portfolio System
The main purpose of this Web-based Student Portfolio Sysem
is to allow studnet at the Industrial Engineering Departments to record
and track his/her activities, both academic and non-academic related events,
during the entire undergraduate educational period at the University of
Houston. Student can authore and update his/her portffolio using Microsoft
Frontage and FTP software. After graduation, student can copy his/her
Web-based Student Portfolio System files for continuing maintainence of
personal portofolio during his/her carrer path.
The other purpose of this Web-based Student Portfolio System is to allow
the Industrial Engineering Department to periodically review and evaluate
the IE Program Educational Objectives, and to ensurce that the IE Program
Outcones as well as ABET Program Outcomes are met.
