Previous IEEE service at the Section, Chapter, Society, Conference,
Region, and Institute levels will enable me to serve as an
effective member of the Board of Directors. I have direct experience
with regional activities, technical activities, publications
and products, educational activities, student branches, and
the Board of Directors.
If elected, I will focus on:
• supporting
the expansion of activities for all Region 5 sections
• adding more IEEE services for the direct benefit of all members
• increasing the number of active members and providing greater
recognition of section leaders
• enhancing the image of engineering as seen by the general public
and promoting career opportunities to students
• expanding the cooperative efforts between Region 5 and other
regions as well as with the technical entities within IEEE
•
assuring the financial viability of both the Institute and
the sections
I
will try to increase interaction between our sections through
communication and enhanced awareness of
each other’s programs and practices.
If
elected, I will do my best to represent you and the sections. |
